WHAT TEVAQUEL AND WHAT IT IS USED?
Quetiapine belongs to a group of medicines called antipsychotics, which help to control the symptoms of mental illness called schizophrenia. These symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, abnormal behavior, which can be aggressive and become closed and depressed.
Quetiapine can also be used in the treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes. These episodes cause periods of endless cheerfulness and increased activity. People with this condition may become unusually irritable, may need less sleep than normal and have rapidly changing thoughts. Not been proven whether quetiapine preventing recurrence of manic or depressive episodes.

BEFORE YOU TAKE TEVAQUEL
Do not take TEVAQUEL and tell your doctor if:
- Are allergic to quetiapine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- Are taking medicines to treat AIDS
- Agree azole antifungals such as ketoconazole or itraconazole
- Taking antibiotics erythromycin or clarithromycin
- Agree nefazodone for depression

Take special care with Tevaquel if you:
- Suffer from low blood pressure
- Suffer from heart disease, irregular heartbeat or heart disease or blood vessels
- You have ever had seizures or fits
- You have liver problems
- Suffer from diabetes
- You had a low white blood cell

Schizophrenia
The usual starting dose is 50 mg. During the first four days of treatment will take increasing number of tablets. Method of administration

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Very common - dizziness, drowsiness, headache

Common - loss of consciousness, rapid heartbeat, indigestion, weakness, weight gain, high blood sugar, elevated levels of enzymes in the blood, changes in the number of white blood cells, swelling of hands or feet, dry mouth constipation, rhinitis, low blood pressure when standing up, which can cause dizziness
