WHAT TERTENSIF COMBI 10 mg / 2,5 mg IS AND WHAT IT IS USED?
What is TERTENSIF COMBI 10 mg / 2,5 mg?
TERTENSIF COMBI 10 mg / 2,5 mg of a combination of two active ingredients perindopril and indapamide. It is an antihypertensive agent, and is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). What is TERTENSIF COMBI 10 mg / 2,5 mg?
Perindopril belongs to a class of drugs called ACE inhibitors. They work by widening the blood vessels, which relieves the heart to pump blood through them. Indapamide is a diuretic. Diuretics increase the amount of urine produced by the kidney. However, indapamide is different from other diuretics, as it leads to a very slight increase in the amount of urine formed.
