What Proscar and what it is used
Proscar an inhibitor of 5 alpha reductase . It reduces the size of the enlarged prostate gland .
Your doctor has prescribed Proscar because you have an condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH . Your prostate gland , which is located in the vicinity of the bladder is increased in size and becomes the cause of dysuria .

What is the prostate ?

Important information about some of the ingredients of Proskar
This medicinal product contains lactose (a sugar ) . If your doctor ever told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine .

3 . How to take Proscar
Take one tablet each day. Follow your doctor's recommendations .
Remember, it took several years to increase your prostate so that it can cause the symptoms you have. Proskar can eliminate your symptoms and control your disease only if you continue to use it long enough.

If you take more dose Proscar
If you take too many tablets, contact your doctor.

If you forget to take Proscar

4 . Possible side effects

5 . How to store Proscar
