What does NORVASC
Tablets NORVASC have different concentrations of active substance , 5 mg and 10 mg .
Tablets of 5 mg white shaped emerald marked "AML- 5 " on one side and "Pfizer" on the other side ..
Excipients: anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate, magnesium stearate , microcrystalline cellulose and sodium starch glycolate (type A). NORVASC is available in packs of 30 tablets.
 

 
NORVASC WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR ?
What type of drug is NORVASKNorvask belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers .
What is it used NORVASC ?
NORVASC is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) , as used alone or as necessary with other medicines to lower blood pressure. It is also applied in the treatment of angina ( different forms of ischemic heart disease , wherein the disrupting blood supply to the heart, as a result of which a pain . Patients with high blood pressure NORVASC operates by dilating the blood vessels so that the blood flows through the them easier. patients with angina NORVASC works by improving blood flow to the heart muscle , which also gets more oxygen and as a result prevent chest pain . NORVASC not provide fast relief of chest pain angina.
 
BEFORE YOU USE NORVASC
NORVASK should not be used if you have :
■ Allergy NORVASC or other calcium antagonists called dihydropyridines . This can be expressed as pain, redness of the skin or breathing difficulties .
* Allergy to any of the excipients of the drug.
If the answer to any of the following questions is YES , tell your doctor before taking NORVASC :
■ Do you spend you rather have a heart attack or hypertensive crisis ?
■ Do you have liver disease ?
■ Are you pregnant ? Are you breast feeding ? If you are a woman of childbearing age , the recommended effective contraception.
■ UNDER 18 years old?

HOW TO TAKE NORVASC ?
The usual dose for NORVASC angina and hypertension is one tablet of 5 mg daily. At the discretion of the doctor , the dose may be increased to two tablets of 5 mg per day or one tablet of 10 mg. Take the tablets as directed by your doctor . It is best to take the tablets at the same time each day with a glass of water. Keep taking the tablets every day. They can help you feel better. Do not wait for the tablet to be done to see your doctor . Your doctor may want to prescribe more tablets NORVASK . If you still are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
What happens if you take too many tablets
If you take too many tablets, you may feel worse. If several tablets are taken once, it can be dangerous . Tell your doctor immediately or go to the nearest emergency room .
What happens if you miss a tablet
Do not be nervous. If you forget to take a tablet , leave out that dose completely . Take your next dose at the same time .
NORVASC CAUSE SIDE EFFECTS
NORVASC as all medicines can cause some side effects . The most common are : redness , fatigue , edema ( swelling of the ankles , for example ), dizziness , headache , abdominal pain, nausea , palpitations ( a rapid and irregular heart beat ) , somnolence . Tell your doctor if these effects cause you any problems or last more than a week.
Following conditions have been observed in patients taking NORVASC but can result from disease being treated: heart attack (myocardial infarction) , irregular heart beat (arrhythmia ), and chest pain .
All medicines may cause allergic reactions. These cases are rare in patients treated with NORVASK : itchy skin, rash , swelling of the larynx and a condition called erythema multiforme ( red spots on the skin). Serious allergic reactions are extremely rare and sometimes life-threatening. Any sudden onset of snoring, difficulty breathing , swelling of eyelids, face or lips, rash or itching (especially the body ) must be immediately reported to your lekar.Uvedomete your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any other side effects.
 
HOW TO STORE YOUR MEDICINE ?
Keep your medicine at a temperature below 30 ° C.
Keep all medicines out of the reach of children !
