ZIRID WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?

Zirid itoprid contains an active substance that increases the motility of the gastrointestinal tract and prevents nausea and vomiting.

The product is intended to treat symptoms caused by delayed gastric emptying, and the feeling of a full stomach or even painful sensation in the epigastric pressure, loss of appetite, heartburn, nausea and vomiting associated with impaired digestion due to reasons other than ulcer organ disease or disease-causing change in passage through the gastrointestinal tract.

BEFORE YOU TAKE ZIRID:

Do not take Zirid

 If you are allergic to itoprid, lactose or any other ingredient of the product

 If you suffer from a condition in which the accelerated gastric emptying may be harmful, such as bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, mechanical obstruction or perforation

This product is not intended for children and pregnant and lactating women

Taking food and drink 

The product should be taken before meals.

Pregnancy and lactation

Due to lack of safety data should not be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding women who are suspected pregnancy unless the therapeutic effect is not significantly greater than the possible risk.

Driving and using machines:

Although no studies of the effect of the product on the ability to drive and use machines violation of concentration can not be excluded because rarely appearing dizzy. Do not drive if you happen.

Important information about some of the ingredients of the Zirid 

The product contains lactose monohydrate. If you know that you have an intolerance to some sugars before taking this product, consult your doctor.

HOW TO TAKE ZIRID

The tablet is scored on one side and can be divided into equal halves.

Swallow the tablet whole or half a glass of water before eating.

The exact dosage of the product and the duration of treatment is prescribed by a doctor.

Adults:

The usual dose for adults is one tablet three times daily before meals.

This dose may be reduced depending on the course of the disease / eg. up to 1/2 tablet 3 times a day /. 

Children

Due to lack of data on safety product is not intended for children.

People with liver or renal impairment and in the elderly.

If side effects occur, contact your doctor. He may advise you to reduce the dose or interrupt treatment.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

Stop taking the medication and contact your doctor immediately if:

you have severe swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, lips or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing.

You may also notice a rash or itching. This may mean that you have an allergic reaction

Uncommon - diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, salivation, headache, sleep disturbances, dizziness, pain in the back or chest, fatigue, irritability, increased creatinine and blood urea nitrogen, decreased number of white blood cells, blood hormone levels prolactin in the blood

Rare - rash, redness and itching

Not known - low platelet count, tremors, nausea, breast enlargement, yellowing of the skin, elevated levels of certain enzymes - ST, ALT, gamma-GTP alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin pigment.

What Zirid

The active substance is itoprid hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 50 mg itoprid hydrochloride.
