6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What does a Vidisic Store contain?

The active substance is: carbomers,
1 g eye gel contains 2 mg carbomers (viscosity 40,000 - 60,000 mPa.s).

The other ingredients are: cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment) and water for injections.

What does Vidisic look like and what does the packaging contain?

Vidisic is a colorless eye gel.

Carton containing a tube with 10 g eye gel.

Properties:

Vidisic can be given dropwise and is therefore easy and convenient to use when you follow the instructions for use. Because of its high viscosity, Vidisic is particularly well suited for the treatment of even severe symptoms of dry eye syndrome. Visible forms a protective film with high adherence and durability and long keeps the cornea and conjunctiva moist so that in severe cases, relatively few doses (3 to 5 times a day) are sufficient to reduce complaints and improve the condition.
Vidisic is very good tolerance. When necessary, it can also be applied more often.

Vidisic is produced under sterile conditions and subject to strict quality criteria. Therefore, be careful not to touch the tip of the tube with your fingers when using it and touch the tip of the tube to the surface of the eye.
After use, close the tube by inserting the protective cap.

Please note!

Instructions for use!

Tilt back your head and gently pull down your lower eyelid with your index finger. With your other hand, grab the tube, down vertically without touching the eye, and drop a drop into the conjunctival sac. Try closing the eyelid slowly and moving it so that the eye gel is evenly distributed.

Please note!

The gel produced by Dr. Mann Pharma is available in flat-capped tubes allowing the tube to be upright.

Please note:

The viscosity mentioned in the Active Substance section (see above) is expressed in accordance with legal requirements and applies only to the active substance (= carbomers) of this medicinal product. It does not provide information on the viscosity of the finished product Vidisic
