What is Repido and what it is used for
The name of your medicine is Repido. The active substance is candesartan cilexetil. It belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. This medicine works by expanding the blood vessels. It helps to lower your blood pressure and so the heart can easily pump blood to all parts of the body.

This medicine can be used to:

Treatment of high blood pressure in adult patients and children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years.
Treatment of adult patients with heart failure and reduced cardiac function when it is not possible to use angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or in addition to ACE inhibitors when symptoms continue despite treatment and can not be used mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MPA). ACE inhibitors and MPA are medicines used to treat heart failure.
