RASILEZ 150 mg. 14 tablets

What is Rasilez and what it is used
Rasilez contains an active substance called aliskiren. Aliskiren belongs to the class of medicines called renin inhibitors. Rasilez helps to lower high blood pressure in adults. Renin inhibitors reduce the amount of by angiotensin II. Angiotensin II leads to constriction of blood vessels, which increases blood pressure. Reducing the amount of angiotensin II allows the blood vessels to relax, which lowers blood pressure.
High blood pressure increases the workload of the heart and arteries. If this continues for a long period of time, can damage the blood vessels of the brain, heart and kidneys, and may result in a stroke, heart failure, myocardial or renal failure. Lowering the blood pressure to normal reduces the risk of developing these diseases.
