WHAT IS NO-SPA AND WHAT IT IS USED
NO-SPA solution for injection is a spasmolytic product. It can be used for the following diseases:

Spasms of smooth muscle in bile diseases: stone in the bile, formation of stones in the bile ducts, cholecystitis (gallbladder inflammation), cholangitis (inflammation of the intestinal tract).
Spasms of smooth muscle in diseases of the kidneys, bladder and urinary tract: kidney stone, urethra stone, kidney inflammation, cystitis (inflammation of the bladder), bladder spasm.
As an aid in case the patient can not take a tablet.

In the case of spasms of smooth stomach and intestinal muscles: gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, spasm of the cardiac sphincter (the upper gastric portal through which the food passes from the esophagus into the stomach) and the sphincter of the pylorus (the outlet of the stomach , the narrowest passage of stomach contents in the duodenum);
For gynecological diseases: painful menstruation.
2. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE NO-SPA
Do not take NO-SPA 20 mg / ml solution for injection:

in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substance of the HO-SHPA injection solution (drotaverine) or any of the excipients;
in case of hypersensitivity to sodium bisulfite;
in the presence of severe hepatic and renal insufficiency;
in the presence of severe heart failure (low-grade syndrome);
in children.
Take special care with the use of NO-SPA 20 mg / ml solution for injection
In the case of low blood pressure, its administration requires caution. Intravenously - due to the risk of collapse (a sharp fall in blood pressure) - it can only be administered to patients in a lying position.
The injection formulation can not be used in patients sensitive to bisulfite.

Taking other medicines
In any case, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking or have recently taken, including those that are obtained without a prescription.
When administered concomitantly with levodopa, NO-SPPA reduces its effect on relieving the symptoms of Parkinson's disease, i. E. the stiffness of skeletal muscles and tremor may get worse.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant or if you are planning to become pregnant.
Limited data are available in pregnant patients. Animal studies do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects during pregnancy and fetal development. However, caution should be exercised when taking this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding or intend to breast-feed.
Due to the lack of sufficient results from studies, the use of No-sppa during breast-feeding is not recommended.
No-sputum should not be taken during labor.

In case of administration of usual doses of the product, mainly intravenous injection, it is necessary to refrain from potentially hazardous activities, such as driving a car and operating machinery.

3. HOW TO ACCEPT HOBBY
Always take NO SPA exactly as your doctor told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The usual dose is:

Adults 40-240 mg (divided into 1-3 doses) i.m.
To relieve acute intestinal colic - 40-80 mg i.v.

In case of overdosage, contact your nearest emergency department or doctor immediately to take the necessary measures for your treatment.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, NO SPA can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them:

Rare: headache, vertigo, nausea and feeling palpitations, insomnia, constipation, low blood pressure.
Rare: allergic reactions (angioedema, urticaria, rash, pruritus).
Injection site reactions.
Unknown frequency: fatal or non-fatal anaphylactic shock have been reported in patients treated with the injection formulation.

HOW TO STORE NO-SPA
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store at temperatures up to 25 ° C in a place protected from light.
