What is Maqui Berry?
By Maqui Berry of Natrol you will protect your body from free radicals. Maqui (maki) is a plant originating in Chile and Argentina. It is preferred by indigenous Mapuche as it gives energy and strengthens the immune system. Antioxidants in maki are among the strongest it occurring in nature. The product is manufactured under full protection of the environment through cold processing of whole fruit from the plant Mackie. The antioxidants in Maqui Berry helps protect the body against oxidative stress, which is often associated with aging, pollution of the body and even exercise. Fruit maki are one of the most powerful sources of polyphenols and anthocyanins in nature, which, in turn, have proven to be potent antioxidants. They neutralize harmful free radicals.
