LENUKSIN WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED

Lenuksin containing escitalopram, is a selective inhibitor of serotonin reuptake / SSRI / belongs to the group of medicines known as antidepressants.

Lenuksin used to treat depression, panic razstoystvo, social anxiety disorder / social phobia also called / razstoystvo generalized anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Depression is characterized by low mood, low energy, melancholy, feelings of inferiority, sleep disturbances, withdrawal and inability to cope with everyday duties. Depression may be accompanied by thoughts of suicide. Depressed patients may have symptoms of anxiety.

Panic razstoystvo is characterized by the occurrence of unexpected bouts of strong panic or anxiety associated with certain situations or fear of occurrence of new attacks. Reasons provokirashtgi panic attacks vary between patients. Attacks recur when the patient gets back in the same situation

BEFORE YOU TAKE LENUKSIN

Not accept:

 If you are allergic to escitalopram or any of the other ingredients. Consult a doctor if you think you may be allergic

  If you are taking other medicines that belong to a group called MAO inhibitors, including selegiline, moclobemide and linezolid

 If you are taking other medicines that belong to a group called non-selective monoamine oxidase inhibitors / MAOIs /, eg phenelzine, isocarboxazid, and tranylcypromine, which are also used to treat depression. If you take any of these medicines, you must wait seven days before taking any of these medicines

HOW TO TAKE LENUKSIN

  Lenuksin take each day as a single daily dose

  Lenuksin can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablets with a drink of water. Do not chew

If necessary, tablets can be broken by first placing on a flat surface with the score up.

The usual dosage

Adults:

Depression: The usual dose is 10 mg. The dose may be increased by your doctor. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg daily

Panic disorder: An initial dose of 5 mg for the first week before increasing to 10 mg daily.

Social Anxiety Disorder: The usual dose is 10 mg. It usually takes 2-4 semitsa to achieve symptom relief. Depending on how chuvstvote after taking the drug for some time, the doctor may primate dose between 5 and 20 mg daily.

Patients with special risk

In patients with mild to moderate renal impairment do not require dose adjustment. In patients with severely reduced renal function is advised
