WHAT IS KARBIS AND WHAT IS USED FOR?
Carbis belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Angiotensin-II is a substance produced in the body that binds to receptors in the blood vessels, causing them to contract. This leads to an increase in blood pressure. Carbis prevents the binding of angiotensin-II to these receptors, causing blood vessels to relax, and blood pressure decreases.
Carbis is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to treat some types of heart failure.
