What is Humam Albumin Baxter and what it is used?
This medicine contains a protein called albumin, which occurs in the liquid component of blood ( plasma ) and belongs to a group of medicines called " plasma substitutes and plasma protein fractions ." It is made from human blood collected from donors.
Bottle of 250 ml contains 12,5 g of human albumin. Vial of 500 ml contains 25 g of human albumin.
Human albumin is used to restore and maintain blood volume in patients who have lost blood or fluids for any reason . The choice of albumin instead of its synthetic substitutes , as well as the dose required will depend on the clinical need of the particular patient .

2 . What you should know before taking Humam Albumin Baxter ?
Do not use Humam Albumin BAXTER :
• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to human albumin or to any of the excipients (listed in section 6) Humana Albumin 50 g / l Baxter

Warnings and Precautions
Be approached with care with Humam Albumin  Baxter
• If an allergic reaction during treatment , accompanied by difficulty breathing , weakness (vertigo) or other symptoms. If you happen described above , tell your doctor or nurse immediately as drug infusion should be stopped immediately and may need to be taken for treatment of shock.
• if you have:
- Decompensated heart failure
- High blood pressure
- Oesophageal varices
- Pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs)
- Tendency to spontaneous bleeding
- Severe anemia ( a lack of red blood cells)
- Lack of urine output

Humanized Albumin  Baxter comprises 130-160 mmol / 1 sodium. This should be considered in patients on a low- sodium diet.

3 . How to use Humam Albumin Baxter ?
 Humam AlbuminBaxter is a drug intended for hospital use . Therefore, it is administered by qualified medical personnel in the hospital and your doctor will determine the amount you need to get the frequency , dose and duration of treatment according to your condition . It will monitor your condition will measure your blood pressure and pulse rate will take blood samples while taking this medicine , to ensure that the dose you receive is appropriate (not exceeded ) . If you experience headaches , breathing difficulties or increased blood pressure, report it to your doctor.

4 . Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them .

5 . How to store Humam Albumin  Baxter ?
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use Humam Albumin 50 g / l Baxter after the expiry date printed on the package. The expiration date is valid until the last day of the month . Do not store above 25 ° C. Do not freeze .
Vials can be stored in the original package to protect from light.
Once opened, the contents should be used immediately.
Do not use Humam Albumin BAXTER if you notice that the solution is cloudy or has precipitated.

Each 100 ml of a solution containing 5 g of protein , of which at least 95% is human albumin . The other ingredients are sodium chloride , sodium caprylate , sodium acetyltryptophanate , water for injections.
