What is Hepa-Merz and how it works?
Granules for oral solution - pack of 30, 50 or 100 camera.
Ingredients:
One sachet of 5 g contains:
3 g L-ornithine-L-aspartate (L-ornithine-L-aspartate)
Other ingredients: Fructose, citric acid anhydrous, with flavors
lemon and orange-saccharin sodium, sodium cyclamate
polyvinylpyrrolidone, zhylto-orange dye (E 110).
Hepa-Merz contains L-ornithine-L-aspartate, which accelerates the release of ammonia from the body by stimulating the biochemical processes in the liver cells (synthesis of urea in the urea tsekal). Furthermore, L-ornithine-L-aspartate contributes to accelerated release of ammonia from tissues regardless of liver cells.
What is Hepa-Merz used?
Hepa-Merz is used for the treatment of liver diseases such as liver cirrhosis, fatty liver (fatty deposits in the liver), hepatitis, and their neurological complications.
There are no known interactions with the use of Hepa-Merz with other drugs or foods. Please tell your doctor if you are taking / have taken recently other drugs, even if they are without a prescription.
Special warnings:
This product contains colorant E110, which may cause allergic-type reactions including asthma. Allergy risk is greater in patients allergic to aspirin.
One sachet contains 1,13 g fructose, which corresponds to 0,11 BU (bread units). Be considered in patients with diabetes.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Adequate data on the use of medication during pregnancy and lactation there. It is not known whether the active substance passes into breast milk. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, nursing or planning to become pregnant and take this product if you have been prescribed by a doctor.
Effects on ability to drive and use machines:
Due to the nature of the disease being treated ability to drive and use machines may be reduced during treatment with Hepa-Merz.
How can you use Hepa-Merz?
Unless otherwise specified, be taken 1-2 camera to 3 times daily. The contents of the sachet dissolves very liquid (eg a glass of water, tea, or juice) and drink after a meal.
Overdose:
There were no signs of toxicity in overdose of ornithine-aspartate.
What to do if you forget to use the product?
If you forget to use the product, please proceed to the dosing instructions.
What side effects can cause Hepa-Merz?
The frequency of reported adverse effects are defined as follows:
Very common:> 1/10 patients
Common:> 1/100, <1/10 patients
Uncommon:> 1/1000, <1/100 patients
Rare:> 1/10000, <1/1000 patients
Very rare: <1/10000, including single cases
Not often can occur gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea,
vomiting, stomach pain, gas and diarrhea, these side effects
usually transient and did not require discontinuation of treatment.
