Gastrocid 20 mg. 14 capsules

What is Gastrocid and what it is used
Gastrocid contains the active substance omeprazole, which belongs to a group of medicines called "proton pump inhibitors". They work by reducing the amount of acid that your stomach produces.
Gastrocid use in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (eg. Heartburn, returning acids, a chest pain) and for the prevention of gastroduodenal ulcer caused by nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in patients in need of continuous treatment with them.
Reflux is a return of gastric acid from the stomach into the esophagus which may lead to inflammation, and the occurrence of pain. This may be the cause of your symptoms, such as painful burning sensation in the chest, reaching to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
