DRO SPAZ 40 mg. 20 tablets

WHAT DRO SPAZ TABLETS AND WHAT IT IS USED
DRO SPAZ tablets antispasmodic (calm or eliminate spasms) product.
Chemical structure and action close to papaverine, but has a stronger and more prolonged activity.

DRO SPAZ tablets are used in the following cases:
Spasms of the smooth muscles associated with diseases of the bile ducts and gall bladder from different backgrounds: gallstones, cholecystitis (gallbladder inflammation);
Spasms of smooth muscle in diseases of the urinary tract, kidney stones, stones in the urinary tract, inflammation of the renal pelvis, cystitis (inflammation of the bladder), bladder spasms;
As adjuvant therapy:
Spastic pain conditions of the smooth musculature of the stomach and intestine: gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach mucosa), spasms of the stomach, enteritis (inflammation of the lining of chervata), hypersensitivity and irritation of the colon, accompanied by constipation or flatulence (formation of gas in the digestive tract, mainly in the intestine);
In tension-type headache;
Spastic painful conditions in gynecological diseases, painful menstruation.
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE DRO SPAZ TABLETS
Do not take tablets in Dro Spaz:
hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substance (Drotaverine) or to any of the excipients (see. pt. 6);
severe liver, kidney or heart failure;
violations in conducting cardiac impulse (AV-block II and III degree);
in children under 1 year.
Take special care with Dro, Spaz tablets:
Tell your doctor if you have or have had any health problems, especially any of the following:
If you have expressed atherosclerosis medicinal product should be administered with caution and after careful preliminary assessment of the state of the cardiovascular system;
If you have low blood pressure, especially in a state of shock (systolic blood pressure below 90 mmHg);
If you are sensitive to lactose adoption of this product may cause gastrointestinal complaints;
If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
The effect of drugs used to treat Parkinson's disease (eg. Levodopa) is reduced by concomitant administration of Dro, Spaz tablets (musculoskeletal stiffness and tremors might increase).

pregnancy
Before taking any medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Data from animal studies and observations in humans do not indicate harmful effects during pregnancy. It is not known harm to the fetus. However, during pregnancy, particularly during the first quarter, the product should be used with caution.

breastfeeding
Due to the lack of results from studies using Dro, Spaz tablets during lactation is not recommended unless prescribed by your doctor.

Driving and using machines
Due to possible dizziness and vertigo due to hypotension, to avoid potentially hazardous activities such as driving or operating machinery.

3. HOW TO TAKE DRO SPAZ TABLETS
Always Dro, Spaz tablets exactly as stated in this leaflet!
It is orally with sufficient fluid.

Recommended dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years:
The usual dose is 1-2 tablets (40-80 mg) 2-3 times a day.

children:
1 to 6 years - 1/2 tablet (20 mg) 2-3 times daily.
From 6 to 12 years old - 1/2 - 1 tablet (20-40 mg) 2-5 times daily.
The tablets should not be administered to children under 1 year.
If you have the impression that the effect of the application of Dro Spaz tablet is more powerful or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

If you take more than the amount Dro Spaz tablets
When taking a higher dose than prescribed, immediately contact a doctor!
Subject to the recommended dosing regimen is not seen signs of overdose. In case of accidental intake of large quantities of the product can be observed lowering of blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, collapse, respiratory depression.
Treatment of overdose: Terminate the application. If necessary, apply symptomatic means.
If symptoms of overdose, immediately contact a doctor!
If you forget to take Dro Spaz tablets
Do not take a double dose to make up the missed dose. Do this in the next regular intake.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Dro Spaz tablets can cause side effects.
Side effects when taking Dro, Spaz tablets are rare. They are usually mild and disappear rapidly reversible upon discontinuation of the product.
Rarely: headache, dizziness, insomnia, nausea and palpitations, constipation, low blood pressure;
Rare: allergic reactions (angioedema, urticaria, rash, pruritus).
Tell your doctor if you experience any of these side effects.

If any of the side effects gets serious, or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

5. HOW TO STORE DRO SPAZ TABLETS
Store in the original container at a temperature below 25 ° C.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton.
Keep out of reach of children.
Medicines should not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What contain dihydro compliance tablets
The active substance is drotaverine HCl (drotaverine hydrochloride). Each tablet contains 40 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.

Tablets are yellow or bright yellow with a slight greenish tint, round and flat.
