BIOLIN WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR? 

Biolin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with the pain-relieving properties. Biol be used for the treatment of acute pain and to treat menstrual pain; Each tablet contains as Biolin drug 100 mg nimesulide, and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate and hypromellose.

2 BEFORE YOU TAKE BIOLIN

Do not take this product in the following cases:

- Patients with hypersensitivity to nimesulide or any of the excipients;

- A history of hypersensitivity reactions (bronchospasm, rhinitis, urticaria) to aspirin or other NSAIDs;

- A history of liver damage after taking nimesulide;

- Active gastric or duodenal ulcer, a history of recurrent ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding;

- Cerebrovascular bleeding or other active bleeding disorder of hematopoiesis, serious diseases associated with bleeding disorders;

- Severe heart failure;

- Severe renal impairment;

- Liver failure;

- Children under 12 years of age;

- Third trimester of pregnancy and lactation.

Take special care with BIOLIN

BIOLIN should be used with caution in patients with liver, heart, gastro - intestinal and renal diseases, diseases of the blood coagulation and those with high blood pressure.

Using BIOLIN can suppress female fertility and is not recommended in women attempting to conceive. In women with a problem pregnancy or those subject to research related to infertility are advised to stop taking BIOLIN.
Treatment with BIOLIN should immediately stop:

Using other medicines

When co-administered with salicylic acid, valproic acid, warfarin, lithium, tolbutamide possible enhance the toxicity of nimesulide. BIOLIN may increase the toxicity of methotrexate, cyclosporine and salicylic acid. BIOLIN reduces the diuretic effect of furosemide. Nateofilin efficiency decreases when co-administered with BIOLIN. The risk of bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract is increased in combination with calcium channel blockers. 3 HOW TO TAKE BIOLIN?

Tablet BIOLIN drink a glass of water.

BIOLIN should be used for the shortest possible period, as defined by lakarya.

Adults and children over 12 years:

1 tablet of 100 mg 2 times a day, after a meal with a glass of water.

Geriatric patients:

in geriatric patients do not require dose reduction.
Patients with renal insufficiency:

4 POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

BIOLIN usually well tolerated and does not result in side effects in most patients. In any occurrence, they are usually mild and transient and did not require discontinuation of the drug.

Side effects that may occur in the administration of Biolin are:
common - diarrhea, nausea and vomiting; elevation in liver enzymes; uncommon - Bleeding from the stomach or intestine; duodenal ulcer or gastric ulcer and snapping; dizziness; hypertension; shortness of breath; constipation, flatulence, gastritis; itching, rash; increased sweating; edema

5 STORAGE BIOLIN

Store in a dry, protected from light, at temperatures below 25 C. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
