BABYHALER

Babyhaler a device intended to help babies and children to receive inhaled drugs. It has a soft face mask that you can put gently on the nose and mouth of the baby. Babyhaler provides the exact dose of medicine baby.
HOW TO USE BABYHALER
Before using Babyhaler first read this leaflet. When you read the directions below, please use the pictures in the original leaflet in English when you consider that the number of each step described below corresponds to the number under the photo in the leaflet in English.
If you are unsure how to apply Babyhaler, consult a doctor. Make sure the device is washed with a mild detergent before first use.
Check valves
1. Before using Babyhaler should check that the two blue valves work properly. Place Babyhaler reverse to you face shield. Squeeze mask to his mouth. You'll have to see at least part of each of the two valves. Gently inhale and exhale through the mask. When you exhale, external valve located on top of Babyhaler, have slightly moved. When you breathe lightly to be moved inside flap. (If the valves remain immobile, see "Keeping the valves').
Preparation of the inhaler
2. Remove the cap on the mouthpiece and shake the inhaler.

How to give medicine to your baby
4. Your doctor has explained how many doses of medicine to give your baby. You have to give him a dose one by one. Take the baby's hands and make sure that it is quiet.
5. Keep Babyhaler horizontally. Press down with your thumb inhaler to release one dose of the drug in Babyhaler. Then, as much as possible faster ...
6. ... put it gently but surely, the mask over the nose and mouth of the baby. (Keep Babyhaler angle that is comfortable for you and baby.) Hold it until the baby inhales 5 to 10 times (about 15 seconds). You can count your breaths by observing the movements of the valves in each. Then remove the mask from the face of the baby.
7. If your doctor has prescribed two doses, repeat steps 5 and 6.
8. Carefully wash the baby's face immediately after using Babyhaler.
9. Remove the inhaler from Babyhaler. Back Babyhaler back into the protective plastic bag. Put the cap on the mouthpiece of the inhaler.
If you have trouble using Babyhaler, when the baby is awake, you can try to use it while it sleeps. In this case, remember that it is important to keep Babyhaler horizontally when you press the inhaler to release a dose of the drug (see step 5).
How to clean BABYHALER
It is important Babyhaler be cleaned regularly - at least once a week. This is done by Babyhaler disassembled, the parts cleaned and reassembled.
Dismantling the Babyhaler
1. Make sure inhaler is not located inside Babyhaler. Carefully remove the soft face mask.
2. Remove the next part, by squeezing both concave clip with your thumb and forefinger and gently separate the plastic parts from one another.
3. To split the remaining two parts, squeeze the two recessed clip and carefully separate the parts from each other.
4. To remove the blue inner flap, squeeze it gently in the center between thumb and forefinger and pull it out of place. To prevent damage to valves with them should always be handled with care. Hold them in the center, not the edges.
5. To remove the outer blue flap, open flap of the outer cover, squeeze gently flap in the center and remove it from its place.
Clean parts
6. Clean all parts with baby sterilization solution or tablets or mild soapy water. Then rinse all parts thoroughly with warm water. With the valves must be handled carefully.
7. Leave the portions at room temperature until completely dry. Do not heat to dry faster.
Assembling Babyhaler
8. Both valves are exactly the same, so no matter which of which place you will place. Take a valve, gripping her into the center, holding it between thumb and forefinger. Put it in place in the central part of the device.
9. Check whether the valve is fitting well. (If you're not sure, see the "How to verify that valves are installed correctly").
10. Place the other valve in place. Make sure it is lying well. Close the outer flap.
11. Assemble the two parts of the device as shown in the picture. In this action should hear a click.
12. Place the part of the holder of the inhaler as shown in the image. When joining the two parts should hear a click. Make sure that the holder of the inhaler and cover the outer flap facing up.
13. Replace the face mask. If there is no right to use Babyhaler, place it in a plastic bag.
MAINTENANCE OF VALVES
To make sure that your baby each time receiving the correct dose of the drug each time before using Babyhaler necessarily check whether the two blue valves are working properly. In the section "Check valves" you will learn how to do it. If a valve is not working properly, it's because either not properly inserted in Babyhaler, or is worn out and needs to be replaced.
How to verify that valves are installed correctly
1. To check external valve lift its outer cover and make sure the flap is lying well.
2. To check the internal valve, remove the upper Babyhaler by squeezing the clips located near the inner blue valve and carefully separate parts. Make sure the valve is lying well. Then connect the two parts again (you should hear a click).
3. Check Babyhaler again (see "check valves"). If one of the valves does not work properly, you have to replace it with a spare (see "How to change the slaughtering ').
How to change the valve
In the case of Babyhaler has two additional valves. The valves are completely identical. New valves can be purchased from the pharmacy.
1. Remove the damaged valve.
2. Get a new valve, and squeeze it gently in the middle with thumb and forefinger.
3. Place the valve in place. Make sure it is lying well.
4. Reassemble Babyhaler under the section "Assembling the Babyhaler".
How to handle the valves
With the valves should always be handled with care. Hold them in the center, not the edges.
Do not expose them to heat, direct sunlight or frost.
Do not immerse them in hot water.
Perhaps after six months of use will need to replace Babyhaler a new one.
